After staying at the Gardina, my expectations were exceeded, especially considering Thailand's competitive hotel scene. The location is prime-just a short stroll from the bustling Asoke intersection, yet nestled in a quiet side street, allowing for a tranquil vibe. The spacious room I occupied came equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and tea and coffee facilities-so essential for a morning pick-me-up. Housekeeping was consistent, maintaining a level of cleanliness that is commendable. The outdoor saltwater pool provided a welcome retreat after a day of exploring Bangkok, and the fitness centre was well-appointed, making workouts a breeze. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. Their friendliness and efficiency made every interaction enjoyable, from check-in to nightly goodbyes. Plus, the complimentary welcome drink was a simple yet delightful touch that added to the overall experience. While luxury is evident throughout the hotel, I found it refreshingly accessible. If you're weighing your options in Bangkok, the Gardina is an intelligent choice-offering good value without compromising on comfort or service.
